“This is the best coffee maker I have ever purchased. It’s a few dollars more than I have ever spent before too, but the coffee it produces after the initial (new plastic) taste is gone is phenomenal. The manual recommends cleaning out the space between the burr grinder and the basket regularly and I found out why. It will jam up and you will have to work out all the grinds that pack up and stops it from working. The process is fairly straight forward though and only involves holding a metal door open while brushing out the grinds. I do that once a week now and haven’t had an issue since. By the way, if you are considering purchasing the glass carafe instead of the thermal one, get the thermal. So long as you make at least 8 cups, the coffee stays hot for hours. I love this coffee maker. It’s worth the money.”
